A Winter Storm Warning is in effect across the area beginning at 10 p.m. Monday through 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Meteorologist Mike Taylor says rain will move through the area by Monday evening. Snowfall is expected to begin around 10 p.m. to midnight.
The bulk of the snow will hit Central Maryland Tuesday, with about four to six inches possible in the Baltimore area.
Precipitation will clear out by Wednesday morning.
