Earlier Friday, Frost's family released an update on the Go Fund Me page about her progress:

"As of now. 10/6. Tina had a ctscan this morning and still looks good, so we are waiting on the dr to approve the removal of the brain swelling monitor. 10/5, Tina had another good day! She's still in a medically induced coma, but had a lot of activity today to check her responses. 10/4, the ventilator was lowered and the doctor confirmed Tina could take breaths on her own. However, they're waiting to take her off the ventilator until the pressure sensor in her brain is removed. Today, she had her left eye dilated and her eye is looking fantastic! The optic nerve isn't swollen and the retina looks normal. She should have her perfect 20/20 vision in her left eye when she wakes up. She also had her physical therapy today, making sure her range of motion stays good for her running. After all, her recovery is going to be a marathon, not a sprint. A doctor came in with a classic rubber mallet to check on Tina's reflexes; she twitched at all the right moments! These are all good signs today and we're excited to share the news. We're just remembering that it's baby steps and each win, however small, are things we're celebrating. We continue to appreciate everyone's prayers and amazing support! It means so much to all of us as we continue on Tina's fight to recovery!"
