Bill McMahon to be sworn in as Howard County Sheriff

Howard County's new sheriff will be sworn in this week.

William "Bill" McMahon was appointed by Gov. Larry Hogan to serve the remaining two years on former sheriff James Fitzgerald's term.

Fitzgerald resigned in October following allegations he made racist and sexist comments outlined in a county investigation.
