A man killed after a car fire in Parkville Thursday has been identified.
Police said the body of 73-year-old Lewis Purvin Courts, of the 1700 block of Hartsdale Road, was found inside of a 2004 Dodge Caravan engulfed in flames at Parkway Plaza.
Just after 1:30 p.m., officers and fire crews responded to the shopping center in the 2300 block of Cleanleigh Drive for a vehicle fire report.

Officers arrived to find the navy blue minivan on fire with the victim inside.
The incident is still under investigation.
No criminal activity is suspected.
