The body of a suspected murder victim was found after she didn't show up to her daughter's wedding, a friend told ABC2.
Baltimore County police said family hadn't heard from 48-year-old Shelly Fillion since Saturday. A friend initially told ABC2 the wedding was Sunday, but Fillion's ex-husband tells ABC2 the wedding was on Monday.
"She went through with it. Her mom was supposed to be one of the witnesses, and after they did that obviously she was worried about her mother so she stopped by," said Harry Fillion, Shelly's ex-husband who remained her friend.
Harry Fillion says Shelly shared with him recently that she wanted her boyfriend to move out.
"He was more a tenant and not a boyfriend, and he just wouldn't accept that and he's put his hands on her before and I said listen nobody should have to deal with that. what can I do to help," said Fillion.

Fillion says Shelly's daughter went to check on her Monday and found her body.

Fillion's death is being investigated as a homicide.
