The man identified by Baltimore Police as Public Enemy No. 1 has been taken into custody, police say.
Alan Floyd, 59, was found inside a vacant home in the 800 block of Montford Avenue in Baltimore Tuesday morning, according to police.

He was taken into custody by the Baltimore Police warrant apprehension task force.
Floyd was wanted on in connection with an arson fire on New Year's Day. He will be charged with murder, according to police.
Around 2 p.m. Jan. 1, firefighters were dispatched to a home in the 2300 block of E. Madison Street.

Inside, crews discovered the body of 61-year-old Sharon Williams of the 1600 block of West Mount Royal Avenue. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
Another person was trapped inside the burning home, but was able to get out alive, according to police.
