We are 8 days into the 5th month and people keep asking the same question. "Is it May?" Point taken! I totally get it....temperatures have been running below average. April ended on a cool note and May picked up where the month before it left off.
70 degrees is the average high temperature for the beginning of may and temps have been 2 to 8 degrees below the norm. Factor in an easterly wind and we have felt a bit coolish.
The good news is a warm up is on the way by the end of the week but the not so good news is showers are possible.
There is still plenty of time for the warmer weather, so lets bask in the days of low humidity and low heat while we can!
