Preakness week is finally here!

 It's finally here. Preakness week!

This Saturday the second leg of the triple crown will kick off. Kentucky Derby winner, Orb, is expected to start the journey to Pimlico today.
The week leading up to the race is full of events and special celebrations.
On Tuesday, a special evening to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Secretariat's triple crown will take place. At 7:30 p.m. at the AFI Theater in Silver Spring, you can sit and enjoy an advanced screening of "Secretariat's Jockey, Run Turcotte".
Wednesday, post positions for each contender will be drawn for the 14 starters.
Thursday morning, wake up early for the Alibi breakfast. The who's who of Preakness will be in attendance.
And of course, Friday is Black-Eyed Susan Day! A 13 race program includes the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes and the Lady Legends for the Cure Race. Money raised benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Starting on Wednesday, leading up to Preakness, you can go to Pimlico and watch the horses practice and take a tour of the track.
