Loyola Head Coach Anthony Zehyoue

BALTIMORE, Md. (WMAR) - Anthony Zehyoue will be taking part in his third Turkey Bowl but it will be his first as the head coach of the Dons.

Zehyoue was named Loyola's head coach last January after serving as an assistant coach for the past two seasons.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in history (2007) and master’s degree in teaching (2009) from Louisiana State University where he played as a defensive lineman from 2004-07. He was a member of the 2007 National Championship team.

Zehyoue took over the Dons after Brant Hall stepped down following the 2016 season. Hall coached Loyola for five seasons.

Loyola plays rival Calvert Hall on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 23, in the 98th Turkey Bowl.  You can watch the game live on ABC2 at 10:00am.
