NFL Experience has a lot to offer

The first thing you have to understand about the NFL Experience is that it is huge. In all it takes up 850,000 square feet of the New Orleans Convention Center.

Most of the exhibits are interactive, but you can't touch one of the main ones -- The Lombardi Trophy.

Visitors line up to get their picture taken.

It's really cool because a lot of people can't do it and it's just a good opportunity," said 10-year-old Alexander Burchell of Baltimore.

Another popular attraction is the demonstration of how footballs are made. The Wilson company flies employees to the Super Bowl every year to participate; most of the work is done by hand.

"Everything that you see here at the NFL Experience is exactly what we do in the factory," said Molly Wallace, a Wilson spokeswoman. "These same people made all of the footballs you're going to see on the field on Sunday at the Super Bowl.

And they have to wait until after the AFC and NFC Championship games to start making them; the Ravens and 49ers names are on each of the Super Bowl balls.

Each team receives 108 balls to choose from; then they each submit half of them for use in the game.
