Need for donations to rebuild homes in New Orleans continues

Let's leave NOLA better than we found it

Ravens fans will have their eyes on New Orleans this week, but you can do more than root for the Ravens.

ABC2 is headed to The Big Easy to cover Super Bowl 47. While we're there, we hope to have an impact.
With the help of the St. Bernard Project, we will be working to rebuild a home destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.

But, we can't do it alone. We need your help. We have volunteers that will help us rebuild a home Thursday but the people of New Orleans still need donations.

  • $50.00 buys paint for two rooms.
  • buys two cordless drills
  • $250.00 buys for a bathtub
  • $500.00 buys flooring for two rooms
  • $1,000.00 buys a fridge and stove
  • $10,000.00 outfits a kitchen and two bathrooms

Follow our coverage of the home rebuilding project tomorrow. We have partnered with the St. Bernard Project to make it possible. If you would like to donate to their cause please click here.
