Baltimore - Tim began his broadcast television career way back in 1972 when straight out of high school he got his first professional job as a studio crew person at the Washington County, Maryland Closed Circuit Educational TV System.

This county-wide instructional television system was the first of its kind in the nation, and was known as the "Hagerstown experiment" in national education studies.

The television unit produced over 100 live TV broadcasts per week covering every subject in every classroom in the entire school system.

After graduating with a B.A. from the University of Maryland in 1976, Tim immediately began working at WHAG-TV in Hagerstown directing newscasts and shooting and editing local TV news stories, on film at the time.

He came to work at WMAR in 1980 as the On-Air Promotion Director where he created and produced the "open" for Baltimore Oriole game telecasts airing on Channel 2.

Moving from promotion to production, where he directed morning newscasts, Tim finally settled in news in 1983 where he has become an award-winning news photographer, editor and multi-media journalist.

From William Donald Schaefer to the Queen of England to Pope John Paul, pull out any WMAR news file tape from 1983 to the present and you will find Tim's daily work.

In 1997 Tim created the website, www.PhotogsLounge.net  , the TV news photographer's online magazine. The website has become somewhat of an industry standard and has been recognized by USA Today and several industry magazines.

Tim resides in Owings Mills with his wife Laura and daughter Kelsey who will graduate from Franklin High School in 2012!
