Cyber bullying bill introduced

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - He's a huge advocate against bullying, and now Ray Rice is urging lawmakers to support what he calling a "lifesaving bill."

The Ravens' running back is trying to convince lawmakers to pass a measure that would make cyber bullying a crime in Maryland.

During a hearing in Annapolis on Thursday, Lawmakers heard the bill introduced by Baltimore County Delegate Jon Cardin.

The bill looks to protect kids by prohibiting a person from using a computer to publicaly threaten a child.

It would also make it illegal for someone to post sexually explicit or private information about a child intentionally inflicts emotional harm.

Ray Rice was not at the hearing in person, but he wrote testimony for lawmakers to hear.
