Schools host event to honor Sandy Hook

In a show of support for the survivors of the shooting in Newtown, Conn., communities across the country are making paper snowflakes for Sandy Hook.  Two Baltimore County schools are also taking part in this nationwide event tonight.

Stoneleigh Elementary and Oakleigh Elementary are joining forces to host the snowflake-making event.  If you'd like to participate you can stop by Oakleigh Elementary at 1900 White Oak Ave., Parkville from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

You're asked to bring your own scissors.  Paper and other supplies will be provided.  The snowflakes will be used to decorate the site of the shooting.
