Teen hurt in accidental shooting

BALTIMORE - Curiosity about guns landed a teenager in the hospital Saturday night.

Baltimore County police said a 17-year-old was accidentally shot in the neck around 9:45.

An investigation found the teen and a group of juveniles were in the basement of a home in the 6000 block of St. Regis Road in Garden Village Saturday night.

Someone brought a gun and as they handled it  the firearm went off-- shooting the teenage boy in the neck.

He was taken to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. 

Police are investigating.
