Program will reinvent Baltimore community spaces with art

BALTIMORE - Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts and PNC Bank have accepted applications from three communities of the City – Franklin Square, Greater Mondawmin, and Hamilton-Lauraville – to partner with artists and/or arts organizations to permanently reinvent community spaces using art.

The program focuses on bringing the arts community and community development together to create a dramatic visual impact that attracts visitors to Baltimore City's neighborhoods.

Wednesday, the List will take you to the Franklin Square neighborhood where they've rejuvenated a section of S. Carey Street with amazing murals.

The List is an entertainment news magazine show, highlighting the latest national stories and some of the hottest events, stories, and places to see in Baltimore.  It airs locally on WMAR/ABC2 at 7pm; you can also check out their content on
