Home catches fire twice overnight

BALTIMORE - Firefighters had to battle fire twice in a home on Greencrest Road in Baltimore overnight.

The first fire started in the basement and spread to the 1st and 2nd floors.  The 2nd alarm fire included heavy smoke and fire conditions.  Nobody was hurt in the fire. It was placed under control at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday.

Then, around 5:30 a.m., the home caught fire again.  According to fire officials, crews arrived to find heavy fire in the rear of the home.  They were able to bring it under control by around 6:15 a.m.
