Fire on track of MARC Penn Line creates delays

BALTIMORE (WMAR) - MARC train services experienced significant delays Tuesday.

A fire on the tracks of the Penn Line occurred about a quarter mile north of the West Baltimore MARC Station.

According to MTA officials, no injuries were reported. Additionally, there was no damage to any trains or railroad infrastructure. 

At 1 p.m., the tracks were reopened. However, Penn Line Trains 428 and 445 have been canceled while trains 430, 532 and 634 are experiencing major delays.
