When you think spring break, what comes to mind? Beach, parties and lots of fun is probably what most people would say. However, a group of Howard University students are giving all that up this week to spend their vacation helping out in Baltimore.
More than 50 students will be tackling the issue of gang violence in the city.
They will work with the community program, Safe Streets, to assist with its initiatives.
They plan to create three murals in Baltimore to be finished by the end of the week.
The group will also work with educators to help prepare students for SATs.
