Police bust crack dealers in McDonald's lot

BROOKLYN PARK, Md. - Three people were arrested after they sold crack to Anne Arundel County police officers.

Police say around 7 p.m. on January 2, undercover detectives were working near the McDonald's at Ritchie Highway and 11 th Avenue in Brooklyn Park when they saw a known drug dealer in the parking lot.

The officers approached the man and two others standing nearby and bought crack.  Immediately after the purchase an arrest team swooped in and cuffed Tavon Markez Staley, Kendell Dennis Johnson and Lakeda Amorica Flowers. All three were charged with various counts of possession and distribution. 

Detectives recovered three baggies of crack cocaine with a street value of $60.
