Gas leak prompts lockdown of Annapolis community

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - People who live in an Annapolis community are not being allowed to enter or leave their homes.

Anne Arundel County Fire Department and Baltimore Gas and Electric crews are on the scene of a gas leak on South Haven Road at Mastline Drive.

Reports of unusual odors rang from the neighborhood around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The leak is believed to be coming from underground.

BGE crews are expected to allow people to exit and enter the neighborhood by 8:00 p.m.

No injuries or related medical calls have been reported.
