They say it's safer and less expensive. So, why are so many women complaining about it?

Women from across the country want Essure pulled off the market. They say it's caused them pain after it was implanted in their bodies.

Their complications range from bloating and belly pain to full-blown cysts. It's all from two metal coils placed in their fallopian tubes.  It's basically a process that ties their tubes without having surgery.

Instead of birth control, many say they are getting a medical nightmare. They're sharing their experiences by the thousands on Facebook.
