Study: Sitting too long can lead to early death

Sitting at a desk too long can be detrimental to your health. 

A new study finds that sitting for long periods of time can lead to an earlier death. That's regardless of how much a person exercises, how old they are, their race or gender. 

The lead author of the study found sitting for more than 60-90 consecutive minutes increased the risk of death. 

Doctors suggest taking frequent breaks where you get up and move around to decrease the time you're sitting.
