UPDATE: Police believe Parkville shooting victim was targeted

Police would like to question ex-husband.

PARKVILLE, Md. - Baltimore County police are looking for the husband of the woman who was shot dead Tuesday in Parkville, according to a release from spokeswoman Elise Armacost.

A Baltimore County judge Tuesday issued a warrant for Cory Shirell Bowman, 38 of the 1300 block of Dalton Road, for failing to appear at a scheduled trial pertaining to assault charges.

"Detectives would like to talk to him about his wife's murder," the release states.

So far, no charges or warrants have been issued by police related to Tuesday's murder investigation.

Victoria Vernetta Glover, 28, also of the 1300 block of Dalton Road, was killed Tuesday morning while loading her 3-year-old son into her car.

Bowman and Glover were granted a divorce on Aug. 1, online court records show.
