Man gets 35 years for Dundalk murder

BALTIMORE - A man was sentenced to 35 years Friday for the death of a 57-year-old man killed on September 11, 2011.

Officials say Jeffrey Jennings was killed at his home on Grey Haven Road in Dundalk. They say he died as a result of blunt force trauma.

On November 13, 2012, John Leschefscky pled guilty to second degree murder and conspiracy to distribute drugs. Prosecutors say Leschefscky, after committing the murder, disposed of Jennings' body in a wooded are near Bengies Road in Essex.

The body was found by Baltimore County police officers in April of 2012.

Leschefscky will serve 30 years for the murder charge and a consecutive fire-year sentence for the conspiracy to distribute.
