2 stabbed at Woodlawn roller rink

WOODLAWN, Md. - A fight at a Woodlawn skate rink ended with two people stabbed Saturday night, police said.

Around 11:40 p.m. Saturday police were notified that a juvenile was admitted to an area hospital with stab wounds. At 12:23 a.m. police located a man at another hospital who was involved in the same incident.

An investigation found the juvenile and the man were involved in a fight outside of Hot Skates Roller Skating Center in the 1700 block of Whitehead Road.

Police said the fight started when a group of people confronted the juvenile and he pulled out a knife. The juvenile and the man were stabbed in the fight that followed. Police said both the man and the juvenile are in good condition and are expected to recover.

The suspect has been charged as a juvenile.
