Metro Crime Stoppers has republished the reward for information about the murder of Sister Cathy Cesnik. The reward is up to $7,000 for information leading to an arrest.
In 1970, Metro Crime Stoppers offered $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case. Shortly after, the Baltimore Archdiocese donated another $5,000 to the reward fund. Decades later, the reward is still in place.
Thought the reward is not new, Netflix's "The Keepers" has renewed interest in Sister Cathy's murder.
Sister Cathy was a nun and English teacher at Archbishop Keough School in the late 1960s. She disappeared on November 7, 1969. Her body was found January 3, 1970 near a garbage dump in Lansdowne, Maryland.
