UPDATE | Baltimore police arrest new Public Enemy No. 1

BALTIMORE - UPDATE (4:26 p.m.) -- Baltimore police have arrested the newly designated Public Enemy No. 1, just one hour after making the formal announcement.

From police: 

"The Baltimore Police Department Warrant Apprehension Task Force just took newly minted Public Enemy Number One, Jamal Williams into custody.  Excellent work was done by the detectives assigned to this case in bringing a dangerous, violent individual into custody."  

ORIGINAL -- Baltimore police have released information on the city's latest Public Enemy No. 1.

Officials named Jamal Williams, 20, of the 1500 block of Lochwood Road, as their primary suspect for a shooting in Marble Hall.

Police said Williams fired shots into a crowd of people at a party of the weekend, injuring two, according to reporter  Christian Schaffer.

The last two men designated as Baltimore's No. 1 Public Enemies were  captured soon after the announcements made by police.
