Felony solicitation charges against a former high school teacher were dropped this week.
Erin Thorne is still charged with exchanging naked pictures with a student.
Thorne spent four years teaching at Broadneck High School and three and North County High. She taught English, was a girls basketball coach and an advisor for student government.
Charging documents say the relationship between Thorne and the student started back in 2010 when she asked him to send her naked pictures of himself while she returned the favor. Police got an anonymous tip in November, and Thorne was suspended.
She has since resigned her position with Anne Arundel County Public Schools.
