Sisters arrested in Black Friday assault at Annapolis Mall

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - A pair of sisters were arrested Thursday and charged in the Black Friday assault of a girl outside of Victoria's Secret at Annapolis Mall

Anne Arundel County police said they have arrested Antonia Janee Ash, 18 and Ebonie Ta Shawn Brooks, 31, both of the 8400 block of Poplar Hill Dr. in Clinton. They were charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace in the Nov. 29, 2013 incident, which was caught on a cell phone video and has been viewed more than 130,000 times on YouTube.

Police said they have followed up on several tips and reviewed video surveillance from cell phone video and video from other specialty stores within the Annapolis Mall that captured the attack. That video showed the suspects at a store that they had been in prior to the assault at Victoria's Secret.

Detectives subpoenaed store records and based on the results of those records detectives were able to positively identify Ash and Brooks.
