A man who shot at police during a near 24 hour barricade has been officially charged.
Anne Arundel County Police say Samuel Irvin Miller, 25 was released from a hospital Tuesday and is being held without bond.
On February 19, Miller barricaded himself inside a home in the 600 block of Red Cedar Road. Police responded to the location for an overdose and possible suicidal subject.
As authorities were attempting to to convince Miller to exit the residence, he fired several gunshots at officers.
Miller faces multiple counts of assault and firearm related charges.
