You know Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. Now you can add #GivingTuesday to your list of shopping holidays.
This is the second year for the #GivingTuesday movement, according to givingtuesday.org. It is held on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Organizers of the event hope people will give the same enthusiasm to giving to charities as they do scoring great deals on hot ticket items during the holiday shopping weekend.
The goal of the movement is to get people to donate their time, money or services to causes important to them, according to the website. Organizations can become an official partner of #GivingTuesday to promote their cause and get donations.
