Will the winter weather impact your flight? | www.abc2news.com
LINTHICUM, Md. - White out conditions are stranding holiday travelers across the country and
hundreds of flights have been delayed or canceled.
But is not that big of a significant impact at BWI, yet. However, there are a couple of delays or cancelations connected to the blizzard that's pounding the Midwest.
Flights to and from Chicago, Indianapolis, and Milwaukee are affected. Anxious travelers, many of them heading somewhere for the holidays got stranded at airports across the Midwest.
More than a thousand flights have already been cancelled. The bulk of them coming from Chicago's O'Hare and Midway and Kansas City.
And as the storm moves our way, we won't be getting the snow, but strong winds could affect flights here in the Northeast today and tomorrow.
So the best word of advice is to check the status of your flight before heading to the airport.
There could be more cancelations or delays as the day wears on.
