The Bistro at Copper Ridge in Sykesville is the area's only restaurant that caters to the needs of people living with neurocognitive disorders, and for the month of October it is doing its part to support the Alzheimer's Association.
From now until October 31, the Bistro will donate 50% of proceeds from each purchase of the daily Chef's Special to the Walk to End Alzheimer's. They ask that you mention this promotion when you get the Chef's Special to ensure your donation goes through.
The Alzheimer's Association Greater Maryland Chapter is holding six walks across the state this fall.
The Bistro offers sandwiches, salads, and other dishes with ingredients that focus on brain health. We did a story with them back in July about how they come up with the menu items and how they help build brain power.
The Bistro is located at the Integrace Copper Ridge in Sykesville. It is open daily from 8-9:30 a.m. (breakfast), 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (lunch) and 4:30-6:30 p.m. (dinner)
