More and more people are doing their holiday shopping online which has post office workers and other shipping companies working double-time, handling billions of packages. But the big worry is will your gifts and cards be delivered in time?
That's especially true this year, with Christmas falling on a Monday. To make sure your presents and holiday cards make it to their destination before December 25, there are some shipping deadlines you need to keep an eye on:
December 14: USPS Retail Ground
December 19: First Class Mail
December 20: Priority Mail
December 22: Priority Express Mail
Those dates only apply to addresses within the 48 contiguous states in the U.S. For a more in-depth table of holiday shipping deadlines using the U.S. Postal Service, click here.
