Md. and Fla. winners will split $400M jackpot

One winning ticket from Tuesday's $400 million Mega Millions jackpot was sold in Maryland, according to the Mega Millions website.

The ticket was sold at Lady's Liquors in La Plata, Maryland Lottery officials told ABC2 News.

A second winning ticket was also sold in Florida.

The jackpot is the third largest in Mega Millions history and the seventh largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.

The winning numbers are: 11, 19, 24, 33, 51 and Mega Ball  7.

In addition to the two jackpot winners, there are eight $1 million Match 5 winners, including one in Maryland.

Maryland is one of the game's founding members of Mega Millions, and previous jackpot wins in Maryland include a one-third share of the largest Mega Millions jackpot in history, $656 million.

In contrast, Florida is the newest member of the Mega Millions group, having joined the game last May, and this is the state's first jackpot winner.
