Teens assaulted aboard MTA bus, 1 cut

BALTIMORE - Two high school students were assaulted aboard a Maryland Transit Administration bus on the No. 15 line Wednesday, an MTA spokeswoman confirmed. 

One of the two teenagers was cut on his hand and waist, Paulette Austrich, a spokeswoman for the administration said. He was transported to a nearby hospital via ambulance and was treated for non-life threatening injuries. 

The other boy was physically attacked by a group of seven unidentified young people but did not require medical attention. 

Maryland Transit Administration police are investigating. 

A group of kids, witnesses said, tried to pull a young man off of the bus in the 1000 block of North Broadway. Austrich said the incident occurred near the intersection of Ensor and Madison streets. The seven suspects got of the bus near the intersection of Harford Avenue and East Eager Street .
