Dear Garrison Forest Parents,
I am writing to inform you of a serious police incident that occurred in the vicinity of the campus on Reisterstown Road on the access road to Wal-Mart. The incident occurred this afternoon after classes at approximately 4:40 p.m.
Police used deadly force, which resulted in the fatality of a criminal suspect. The campus was immediately cleared, and the alarm was sounded for “Shelter in Place.” We received confirmation from Baltimore County police that the situation was secure at approximately 4:55 p.m., at which time we sounded the “All Clear” signal.
At no time was there a threat to our campus or students. As more details become available, we will share them.
Sincerely,
Peter O’Neill
