Fall begins Thursday morning but our weather patterns didn't receive the memo. A summer pattern will remain in place for the Mid-Atlantic and will keep Maryland warm than normal.
This is due to a high pressure cell creating some compressional heating - boosting our temps into the mid 80s. This pattern will remain in place until a front is expected to arrive this weekend.
Despite the cool down to follow - Fall 2016 is forecast to be above average right into Winter. Here's a link to Maryland's Fall Outlook.
