Severe weather is possible Thursday into Friday.
The biggest threat will be damaging gusty winds. Heavy rain, which could lead to flooding is also a major concern. Two-to-four inches of rain is possible Thursday through Sunday morning.
An upper-level disturbance will pass through the area Thursday afternoon into the evening along with a surface trough. Isolated to scattered showers and storms are expected during this time.
High humidity has moved back in Thursday and will linger into Saturday. Temperatures will be seasonal and much cooler by Saturday in the mid to upper 70s.
There is light at the end of the tunnel because the sun will come out and the humidity will go down for the second half of the weekend.
