An upper-level disturbance moving into the region this weekend will bring the threat of severe weather to the region both Saturday and Sunday.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed Maryland in the slight risk category for the duration of the weekend. Damaging winds, hail and flooding rain will be the primary concerns. An isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
