More rain and wind is headed our way Friday, but not from Hurricane Joaquin.
On Friday, a Nor'easter will deliver a second round of heavy rain to Maryland this week. The first round came on Tuesday when we set a record at BWI, receiving 2.58" of rain in one day. Of course we can't forget Joaquin, either, which could bring us our third round of heavy rain to round out the week on Sunday (into Monday).

Both of these weather systems could bring potential for flooding, and a Flash Flood Watch has been issued until 8 p.m. Saturday. The ground is already saturated with water, so it won't take much more rain and wind from the coastal storm for trees to fall onto power lines.
Please make sure you have your plan of action in place for tomorrow's Nor'easter and Joaquin!
