Steady rain and wind continue to move through Maryland. Rainfall as high as 1.77" in Elkridge has already fallen and the rain keeps coming down.
The rain will get heavier throughout the day and the winds will get stronger as an area of low pressure moves up the coast. Winds will be sustained at 10- 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
Saturated ground plus strong wind is a recipe for for power outages. If you have not done so, please have a disaster kit and a plan of action in place just in case you lose power.
