A stationary front will linger around Maryland over the holiday, keeping the Baltimore area in play for some storms. On the bright side, it appears that the greatest risk for storms will be in the afternoon and early evening. This will mean a minimal impact for fireworks shows across the area on Tuesday. Areas near Washington DC will have a closer call since the "front" is expected to be mostly south of the Baltimore area.
