Hurricane Gert is still a healthy storm churning off coast between the US and Bermuda. This storm is a strong category 1 hurricane with winds near 80+ mph. The good news regarding this storm is it's not expected to impact the United States, but is still close enough to cause some dangerous rip currents. In fact, Ocean City is under a High Rip Current Risk thru Wednesday evening.
