Hope everyone is enjoying the toasty temperatures, as more warmth and humidity is expected into the first week of July. Temperatures will climb above average the next several days. Many locations highs will be in the low 90s! Normal high temperatures this time of year are in the mid to upper 80s.
The chance for a few scattered showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast in the coming days as well. This is good news as June's precipitation was meager. In the month of June, BWI only picked up 1.40" of rain; this is a 1.94" deficit from normal. The latest drought monitor shows 21% of the state is abnormally dry.
