Heavy rain is just getting started in Maryland with several additional rounds of rain expected Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

An upper level low pressure system has set up in the Midwest and it will be the main driving force behind our rain. There is good model agreement that most of the area will see at least 3" of rainfall by Friday afternoon, with some pockets of 4"+ possible.

This weather pattern is expected to exit by Saturday afternoon, leaving better weather for the Ravens home game.
