An upper-level high pressure system will be to blame midweek for surging temperatures. Highs by Wednesday will soar back into the 90s!
Normal high temperatures for the first week of September should hover in the low 80s. We’ll experience high temperatures 10-15 degrees above average later this week!
A southwest flow along with rising 500mb heights will cause the unusually hot and humid conditions.
