Sunshine with seasonable temperatures are expected as we near the haunted holiday of Halloween. A strong cold front will push through the area on Sunday, providing rain, wind and cooler temperatures to arrive. Good news for trick or treaters - drier weather will prevail early week.

Normal high temperature for October 31st in Baltimore is 62 degrees. Highs on Monday will be very close to that, climbing into the low 60s.

The warmest Halloween on record in Baltimore was in 1946 when the temperature soared to an eerily mild 85 degrees.

In 1966, it was bone-chilling temperatures that captured headlines, a record low of 25 degrees was set.

Spirits were dampened back in 1926, when the wettest Halloween occurred, 1.50" of rain fell!
