Coldest Valentine's Day in 37 Years

Valentine's Day will be one of the coldest days of the season. We're forecasting highs in the low 20s & morning lows near zero. The last time Maryland had a Valentine's Day this cold was in 1979, where morning temps were below zero and we only climbed to a high of 21°.

The difference this time around will be the winds. The wind field is more impressive with this weekend's arctic front and this will create some dangerous wind chills. The verdict is out on a Wind Chill Advisory being issued this weekend, but we'll be close.

**With cold air in place, this opens the door for another snow storm. We're watching a system brewing for Monday night into Tuesday, keep up with it here.**
